Assistant Engineer (EV Automotive Industry) - Hougang

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Support to Fleet Owners/PTOs for the eBuses/Truck:

• To attend on-site depot field services together with technician
• Coordinate with customers to attend vehicle breakdown
• Provide engineering and technology support to customers
• Identifying and solving electrical and mechanical problems that may arise in electric vehicle systems.
• Update customers on vehicle repair status
• Cost analysis and component replacement trends
• Recommend critical spare parts for stock up to Warehouse Executive
• Update vehicle maintenance & repair history records
• Documenting and presenting design, simulation, and test results to stakeholders and team members.

1. Customer Relation Management:

• Maintain good working relationship with all fleet customers
• Attend monthly meetings with customers and authority to address outstanding issues

1. Workplace Safety & Health:

• Complying with safety regulations and standards when working in workshop and on-site
• Trained in Work-At-Height/Lifting Supervisor will be advantage
• Ensure proper 5S Housekeeping for workshop

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Power Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Automotive Industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven experience as an Electric Vehicle Engineer or a similar role in automotive engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electric vehicle systems and technologies.
