Senior / Assistant Engineer, Bio-medical Engineering

The Job

You will assist Bio-medical Engineering department with the commissioning, maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting and repairing of a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic biomedical equipment.

Your role will include but not be limited to the following:

• Commissioning of incoming simple biomedical equipment
• Verifying safety and performance of equipment against manufacturer’s specifications
• Interpreting of engineering information, schematic diagrams and instructions on operators’ and service manuals
• Performing of scheduled preventive maintenance
• Entering and maintaining of records in the biomedical equipment management system
• Troubleshooting and correcting of system and equipment malfunctions through making adjustments, alterations, repairs or replacement

• Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Industrial Technician Certificate with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
