Our client is building future of XR by delivering advanced immersive hardware and companion software that seamlessly bridges the digital and physical worlds.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to lead technical strategy at the intersection of spatial computing, consumer hardware, and real-time software systems.

The Role:

We’re looking for a CTO with founder-level drive and leadership. This person will own the full technical roadmap, oversee global engineering teams, and translate product vision into scalable, high-quality execution across multiple concurrent hardware and software initiatives.

You’ll balance high-level architectural decision-making with hands-on technical involvement and cross-functional leadership.

• Own and evolve the end-to-end technical strategy across all active product lines. Architect scalable systems that integrate hardware, firmware, and software.
• Lead a globally distributed team of engineers across multiple countries and time zones. Implement and uphold engineering best practices in code quality, documentation, and delivery.
• Bridge software and hardware development pipelines. Interface with Shenzhen-based manufacturing and hardware engineers to ensure product compatibility and alignment.
• Oversee execution of 4+ software and 4+ hardware projects concurrently. Drive development from prototype to production, ensuring timely, scalable, and quality releases.
• Recruit and mentor top-tier engineering talent. Build a strong, inclusive, and mission-driven technical culture.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, code when necessary, and make key platform-level decisions.
• Participate in fundraising, technical due diligence, and strategic discussions with potential partners or investors.

• Startup background, built a product from the ground up with full ownership
• Experience working with distributed team, cross-border collaboration.
• Deeply passionate about the gaming industry
• Some background in AI integration into work flows.

Budget: 5K-10K monthly base + equity
