Overview

This position reports to the Director of Sales, Asia Pacific and, from time to time, will perform other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor.

Job Scope:

• Establishing, maintaining, and developing good business and social relationships with customers and potential customers in Southeast Asia
• Consistently achieving invoice and booking numbers meeting or exceeding sales targets established in coordination with Director of Sales, Asia Pacific
• Responding to customer inquiries regarding price and delivery in a timely manner either verbally or in writing
• Receiving, entering, reviewing contracts, and invoicing customer orders through Stratix
• Providing oral and written management reports on customer needs, problems, interests, market situation, competitive activities, potential new products/services, and competitor threats
• Monitoring competition by staying up to date on current market information regarding pricing, products, lead times, etc
• Resolving customer complaints by investigating issues, developing resolutions, and completing them in a timely manner
• Assisting all areas of the organization in order to achieve company-wide requirements and goals

• At least 5 years of relevant commercial experience in steel distribution, precision engineering, or the Oil and Gas industry is preferred
• Minimum A degree in Business, Mechanical, Materials Science Engineering or equivalent
• Skills and abilities should include excellent oral and written communication skills and customer responsiveness

• Must maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work with coworkers and customers from different cultures and ethnicities
