Bukit Batok - Qa engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final product inspections according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct tests on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, hardness testers, CMM, height gauges, and scopes.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed QC records in compliance with ISO standards.
• Identify non-conforming products, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective and preventive actions using methodologies such as 8D problem-solving.
• Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of measuring and test equipment.
• Support and participate in internal quality audits, customer audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quality objectives and customer requirements are met.
• Promote and implement 5S practices to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of QC or QA experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor sector.
• Hands-on experience with ISO quality systems, 5S workplace organization, and structured problem-solving (8D methodology).
• Proficient in the use of quality control tools and equipment (CMM, height gauges, scopes, micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Strong knowledge in interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and product specifications.
• Excellent analytical, observation, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
