Deputy Director / Director, Group Human Resources
Mentor Supply Chain is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking HR leader to serve as Deputy Director / Director, Group Human Resources.
This role will be responsible for leading and strengthening the Human Resources function across Mentor Supply Chain's regional operations, ensuring the effective execution of people strategies, talent initiatives, leadership development programs, organisational effectiveness initiatives, employee engagement efforts, and HR operational excellence.
Working closely with the Chief of Staff and business leadership teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Mentor Supply Chain's transformation journey by building a high-performance culture, strengthening leadership capabilities, developing talent pipelines, and enhancing organisational effectiveness across the Group.
The role will provide functional leadership to HR teams across all operating locations and act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on people-related matters.
Job Responsibilities:
Human Resources Leadership- Support the development and execution of the Group Human Resources strategy aligned with the organisation's business objectives and growth plans.
- Provide leadership and direction to HR teams across all countries and business units.
- Drive HR operational excellence, standardisation, and continuous improvement across the Group.
- Establish and monitor HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Develop and implement talent management frameworks across the organisation.
- Lead succession planning initiatives for key leadership and critical positions.
- Build leadership development programs to strengthen management capabilities throughout the Group.
- Establish talent review and performance management processes to support organisational growth.
- Develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent.
- Drive organisational design initiatives to support business transformation and scalability.
- Partner with business leaders to improve workforce productivity, capability development, and employee performance.
- Support change management initiatives associated with organisational transformation programs.
- Develop workforce planning strategies to support future growth requirements.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that strengthen organisational culture and employee experience.
- Promote Mentor Supply Chain's values, leadership principles, and high-performance culture.
- Support employee communications and engagement activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor employee sentiment and recommend initiatives to improve organisational health and engagement.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
- Support annual performance management, salary review, and incentive planning processes.
- Provide recommendations on reward strategies, workforce costs, and talent retention initiatives.
- Ensure fair, consistent, and performance-driven people practices across the organisation.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary processes, and workplace issues.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all operating countries.
- Support governance initiatives related to employee conduct, ethics, and workplace policies.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Governance teams where appropriate on sensitive employee matters.
- Develop HR metrics and dashboards to support management decision-making.
- Analyse workforce trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Support strategic workforce planning initiatives to meet future business needs.
- Drive data-driven decision-making across all HR functions.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organisational Development, or related disciplines.
- Postgraduate qualifications or professional HR certifications will be advantageous.
- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities across multiple HR disciplines.
- Experience managing regional or multi-country HR operations within a multinational environment.
- Strong experience in talent management, organisational development, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Experience supporting organisational transformation, growth, restructuring, or business change initiatives.
- Experience within supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, technology, or related industries will be advantageous.
