Technical Support Chemist [ Lab & Operations ] - Choa Chu Kang

Basic Salary: $3200 - $3600

Responsibilities:

• Supervise waste unloading, segregation, and weighbridge operations to ensure smooth and efficient processing.
• Conduct periodic reviews of workflows and SOPs; recommend and implement improvements for performance enhancement.
• Perform daily inspections of plant operations, enforcing 5S, TPM, safety, and equipment maintenance standards.
• Verify incoming waste streams for compatibility with treatment methods and ensure staff follow safe handling procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve waste discrepancies and revise relevant SOPs and work instructions.
• Evaluate and propose new handling and treatment procedures for unknown or complex waste streams.
• Enforce EHS protocols, conduct regular safety briefings, and coordinate emergency spill/fire drills with staff and EHS teams.
• Analyze daily/monthly reports on plant cost, productivity, and quality; follow up on corrective actions with relevant departments.
