Purpose
The Quality Assurance Coordinator/ Technician is responsible for overseeing and coordinating quality assurance activities with the production and maintenance teams. This role ensures that processes and documentation meet the quality standards, customer requirements and regulatory requirements.He/she will work closely with production and maintenance teams to verify cleanliness, calibration, and filter integrity, while also supporting documentation and reporting efforts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organise and maintain QA documentation systematically to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
- Upload inspection photos and test results to digital/ common platform (e.g. SharePoint) with clear and detailed descriptions.
- Assist in preparing QA reports in accordance with corporate, customer or regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with production and maintenance teams to resolve data discrepancies, incomplete records, and missing information.
- Conduct and perform cleanliness verification of production areas following maintenance or equipment replacement to ensure hygiene standards are met, using approved QA procedures.
- Confirm critical quality checks such as HEPA filter/ verification, pressure gauge verification etc., during equipment/ tool replacement and maintenance activities.
- Review daily and weekly maintenance records against established inspection checklists.
- Perform scheduled calibration checks (e.g. magnet calibration, Gauss meter readings), conduct random checks, and verify records.
- Support planning and execution of quality checkpoints for critical systems and processes.
- Other quality assurance matters as required.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- O-level, Certificate or Diploma, with at least 2 years of working experience in QA coordination or QA production in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inspection protocols, clean standards, maintenance documentation, and quality systems.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint for proper documentation and reporting.
- Experience in quality assurance or production support role.
