About the Company

Torikami is a premium Japanese Yakitori restaurant located in the Maxwell area. We are committed to delivering authentic Japanese hospitality and a high-quality dining experience.

We are currently seeking passionate and service-oriented individuals to join our team.

Location

Maxwell, Singapore (Central Region, near MRT)

Salary & Benefits

Salary up to $4,500 (commensurate with experience)
1 Month AWS
Overtime pay provided

Working Hours

5.5-day work week (44 hours)
Shift-based schedule, including weekends and public holidays

Key Responsibilities

Guest Relations: Welcome and seat guests with a warm smile, taking reservations, and managing the floor flow
Order Taking: Explain the Yakitori menu (different chicken parts) and recommend drinks (Sake, Shochu, Beer) to guests
Food & Beverage Service: Serve skewers and drinks promptly while maintaining a high level of professionalism
Table Management: Clearing tables, resetting for the next seating, and ensuring the dining area is pristine at all times
Cashiering: Handle billing and payment transactions accurately using our POS system
Teamwork: Work closely with the Kitchen Crew and Chefs to ensure a smooth dining experience

Requirements

Experience: At least 3 years experience in F&B or hospitality
Communication: Good spoken English. (Ability to communicate in additional languages, including Japanese and Mandarin, will be beneficial as the role involves interacting with customers from diverse backgrounds.)
Personality: Outgoing, proactive, and passionate about providing excellent customer service
Work Ethic: Punctual, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility: Able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Good to Have

Experience working in the F&B industry, including a Japanese cuisine restaurant
Basic Food & Hygiene Certified
