Assistant Relationship Manager (1-Year Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate closely with customers, the onboarding team, and the compliance department to ensure timely and smooth execution of onboarding, Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes.

• Handle daily client inquiries promptly and efficiently to ensure high service standards and client satisfaction.

• Assist Relationship Managers (RMs) in evaluating the feasibility of new transactions. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting account opening documentation, credit proposals, and deal presentation materials.
• Manage the credit application process and monitor turnaround times.
• Attend roadshows and participate in client visits alongside RMs to support business development efforts.

• Ensure timely submission of periodic account and loan reviews.
• Conduct post-lending monitoring of approved terms and conditions.
• Identify and raise waiver requests for any deviations from bank policies or credit conditions.
• Support the development and maintenance of customer portfolios, including regular credit reviews to uphold healthy loan performance.
• Accompany RMs on client visits to assess current business situations and explore new opportunities.
• Perform transaction monitoring and request supporting documentation from clients as needed.

• Ensure all regulatory checklists are accurately completed and maintained in alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) or Relationship Manager as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and procedures for corporate banking segment.
• Proficent in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
