Network & Security Engineer - Bedok

The Role:

As a Network & Security Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting network infrastructure and security systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine maintenance and upgrades on network systems, including applying patches and firmware updates.
• Replacing faulty hardware with pre-configured devices and handling basic to intermediate configurations.
• Troubleshooting and resolving network and security issues, escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Providing technical support to end-users and documenting resolutions for future reference.
• Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and responding to security audits or assessments.
• Participating in a rotational 24x7 standby team to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
• Responding to and managing network/security incidents, including participating in drills and reviews.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate preventive maintenance reports as per internal guidelines.

What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled individual with the following qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with firewalls such as Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
• Proficiency in networking using CISCO products.
• Familiarity with endpoint protection and privileged access management tools like CyberArk.
• Ability to provide centralized technical support across network and cybersecurity domains.
• Willingness to participate in rotational standby duties for 24x7 support.
• Strong commitment to meeting SLAs and resolving issues efficiently.
• Capability to escalate complex issues beyond Level 1/2 support when needed.
• Availability to attend duty calls during office hours and outside regular hours when required.
• Diligence in following up on support cases from initiation to closure
