Senior IT & Security Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support network environments including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud platforms.
• Maintain servers, network devices, and security systems with proactive issue resolution.
• Support infrastructure expansion, upgrades, and integration with internal systems.
• Monitor and manage IT and security infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and system improvements with minimal downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance for servers, endpoints, and network devices.
• Support backup operations, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Provide technical support and resolve infrastructure-related incidents.
• Recommend improvements and new technologies to enhance system efficiency and scalability.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
• Coordinate procurement, implementation, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare project documentation, timelines, and progress updates.

Requirements:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering and IT infrastructure management.
• Strong hands-on experience with servers, networking equipment, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
• Strong technical capability in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
• Understanding of infrastructure security practices, including patching, access control, and vulnerability management.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, or VCP are advantageous.
