Responsibilities:

• Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise day-to-day activities across all clinical departments, standardizing workflows in coordination with the COO and conducting annual operational audits to identify bottlenecks and reduce patient downtime through improved scheduling.
• Optimize Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Services: Maintain 24/7 ECC nurse coverage with data-driven shift planning, implement triage optimization techniques using digital tools, and track ECC performance through clinical KPIs, patient outcomes, and satisfaction metrics.
• Enhance ECC Readiness and Response: Conduct regular workflow analyses to streamline patient intake, establish real-time incident response teams for critical cases, introduce targeted training modules for rapid decision-making, and standardize reporting for smooth case transitions.
• Advance Staff Training and Development: Maintain staff operational readiness through structured SOP training, implement mentorship and coaching programs for nurse development, and collaborate with universities to offer internship and externship opportunities.
• Drive Workforce Management: Monitor and manage scheduling, attendance, and leave across departments to ensure continuous coverage, address disciplinary matters promptly, and support Department Heads in recruitment and performance management.
• Promote a Positive Work Culture: Champion diversity and inclusion in hiring and daily practices, resolve staff grievances in partnership with the COO, and foster collaboration between ECC staff and other hospital teams to ensure seamless patient care integration.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in veterinary nursing or general nursing.
• Preferably have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within veterinary nursing.
• Demonstrated expertise in patient care, staff supervision, and clinical operations, ideally with a background in healthcare or hospital administration.
• Skilled in training and mentoring nursing teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Solid understanding of veterinary healthcare protocols and regulatory compliance.
