Assembly Technician

Job Scope:

• Perform assembly and production tasks
• Carry out testing and evaluation as assigned by supervisor
• Install, operate, and maintain equipment and tools
• Report any manufacturing defects or issues
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety and manufacturing procedures
• Demonstrate a strong focus on quality and productivity

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Candidates with knowledge of soldering preferred.
• Training will be provided

• Install and wire electrical components, control panels, and automation machines
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in PLC-controlled systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, sensors, and control systems
• Test and commission automation equipment to ensure proper and safe operation

Job Requirements:

• Relevant NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in machine assembly, installation, or electrical wiring (depending on role).
• Ability to read engineering or electrical drawings.
