Reporting to Regional CEO, the Managing Director is responsible for overseeing business operations, driving sales, and managing the company's strategic direction within the country. This role is vital in expanding the company's market presence and building relationships with key clients and partners in the region.
We are seeking a hands-on (a doer) person with the ability to lead a team, with the mission to drive revenue growth, net profit results, foster strong client relationships, and expand the company's footprint. You will manage cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with regional leadership to align business goals and ensure the successful execution of the company's strategies in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
Team builder, led by example, being a doer not strategic thinker. Execution!
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, customers and build network relations.
Be responsible for financial results and other related KPI’s
Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements
Resolve any arising problems or complaints
Supervise, coach and train all staff to become a better version of themselves
Comply with laws, regulations, company policies and other requirements

Skills and qualifications

Over 5 years of experience and proven track record as Managing Director or in a Senior Management role
Experience in establishing business goals and strategies
Commercially astute with good understanding of corporate law, branding and product positioning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent leadership and coaching qualities
Ability to work under pressure
Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, result-oriented, thriving in a rapidly changing environment
Excellent communication skills: listening skills, verbal, written and presentation to different stakeholders
Strong diplomatic skills and resilience in solving problems and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
