STORE MANAGER – SimplyActive & Purpose Performance Wear
Location: Central Business District (CBD), SingaporeWorking Days: Tuesday to Saturday
Working Hours: 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Salary: $3,500/month + Monthly Sales Commission (to be determined)
About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Store Manager to lead the retail operations of SimplyActive and Purpose Performance Wear—two brands committed to helping athletes, runners, and cyclists perform at their best. Based in our flagship CBD store, you will manage day-to-day operations, drive sales performance, and deliver a world-class customer experience.
You will be a key representative of the brands, embodying both the energy of active living and the technical credibility of our performance products.
This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about sports, understands the value of quality performance apparel, and thrives in a retail environment where personalized service and storytelling matter.
Key Responsibilities- • Greet and assist customers, delivering an outstanding in-store experience
- • Understand and communicate product features, technologies, and benefits (especially Purpose’s Hypermesh™ and other technical apparel)
- • Handle sales transactions and maintain accurate POS records
- • Meet daily and monthly sales targets
- • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure store cleanliness
- • Support stock management, including receiving and tagging inventory
- • Provide feedback to the team on customer needs and product trends
- • Assist with in-store activations, events, and athlete visits when required
- •2+ years’ experience in retail management or team leadership (sports or performance brands preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer engagement abilities
- Passionate about sports, activewear, and endurance performance communities
- Organised, accountable, and performance-focused
- Comfortable with POS systems, reporting tools, and basic operations software
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus
- SG citizen or PR
