VP of Investment Management

Responsibilities would include:

• Drive the origination, evaluation, and execution of private equity and private credit investment opportunities within Southeast Asia
• Build and maintain deal flow through various channels and networks, including corporates, intermediaries, banks, and internal stakeholders
• Lead client discussions and manage ongoing investor and counterparty relationships
• Manage investments end-to-end, from origination and term negotiation through analysis and underwriting, investment committee approval, execution, post-deal monitoring, and exit
• Prepare investment memos and develop detailed financial models to support investment decisions

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Years of experience: 8-12 (VP) | 12-15 (Director) in evaluating investment opportunities across different industries
• Strong track record in private equity and/or private credit investing in Southeast Asia
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to run a deal end-to-end from negotiating terms, putting together investment memos etc
• Team-player and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good work ethic with ability to work effectively and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
