Our client is a global technology leader in the automotive sector, and we are seeking a key leader in the APAC Trade Compliance team to drive end-to-end execution and strategic oversight of all customs and trade activities within Singapore, ensuring seamless alignment between local regulations and global corporate standards.

• Direct all Singapore-based import/export operations, ensuring strict adherence to local customs laws, international sanctions, and export control regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for government authorities (such as Singapore Customs and IRAS) while managing certifications like C-TPAT and the Major Exporter Scheme (MES).
• Lead comprehensive trade compliance assessments and audits, implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies to maintain a state of continuous audit readiness.
• Partner with global stakeholders and local teams in logistics, procurement, and engineering to embed compliant, efficient trade solutions into daily business operations.
• Leverage data analytic and tools like SAP GTS or TradeNet to identify operational efficiencies and ensure the accurate utilisation of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Min. 7 years of relevant experience in trade compliance, specifically within the Singapore landscape.
• Deep understanding of custom acts, GST, and global sanctions.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Incoterms
