POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding business opportunities within Intertek Singapore’s Caleb Brett business line. This role focuses on achieving maximum profitability and sustainable growth in alignment with the Company’s vision, values, and strategic goals.The incumbent will support all business development and sales activities, develop and execute effective sales strategies, and build long-term relationships with clients. Additionally, the role is accountable for identifying new market opportunities and establishing plans to broaden the customer base and strengthen Intertek’s market presence in the industry.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Defines and develops territory to increase new and existing sales;
- Establishes annual and monthly sales objectives in line with the Company’s business plan;
- Follows through on sales transactions, specify appropriate standards, price and credit terms;
- Performs customer research, prospecting and networking;
- Manages the needs of the customers in order to meet the objectives of overall business plans and strategies;
- Prepares Sales reports and forecasts;
- Writes and follows up on proposals;
- Attends / participates in trade shows;
- Manages all field and in-house sales functions;
- Maintains contact with all customers in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction;
- Provides an annual Sales Plan and provides quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan.
- Degree holder in a relevant field with at least 3 years of experience in the petroleum/petrochemical survey industry;
- Proven track record in driving sales growth, with strong experience in planning and executing marketing strategies and sound business acumen;
- Highly organized multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales database tracking systems;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships;
- Energetic, passionate, and self-motivated, with integrity and a strong sense of ownership over work deliverables;
- Highly motivated with a strong determination to succeed in this role;
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
