Vlocker is a leading provider of electronic locker solutions, and we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to oversee our operations at Resort World Sentosa. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for the seamless day-to-day running of our locker facilities, ensuring exceptional service for all guests and the efficient management of a dedicated on-site team.
You will be the key point of contact for our client, Resort World Sentosa, and a mentor to our staff. This role requires a blend of operational expertise, leadership, and a passion for delivering a high-quality guest experience.
Responsibilities- Operational Management: Take full ownership of all daily locker operations, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. This includes staff rostering, scheduling, and ensuring all standard operating procedures are followed.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of on-site staff. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance their skills in customer service, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Manage performance, provide feedback, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Guest Experience: Ensure every guest interaction is positive. Handle and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Monitor service quality and implement initiatives to consistently exceed guest expectations.
- Locker Maintenance: Oversee all aspects of locker maintenance and technical support. This includes conducting regular checks, performing minor repairs, and coordinating with technical support for more complex issues to minimize downtime.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and submit regular operational reports to Vlocker management. Maintain open and effective communication with the client, Resort World Sentosa, addressing any concerns or feedback in a timely manner.
- Inventory & Resource Management: Manage the inventory of supplies and spare parts needed for maintenance and daily operations. Ensure all resources are used effectively to maintain cost-efficiency.
- Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role, preferably within the hospitality, leisure, or a related service industry.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills. You should be a natural at motivating and developing a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both staff and customers.
- A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Technical aptitude for troubleshooting electronic systems or a willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the operational demands of the resort.
- Highly Trustworthy and experienced in handling cash and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with standard reporting and scheduling software is a plus.
