Job Summary

The Resident Technical Officer (Civil & Structural) oversees daily site supervision and inspection to ensure construction quality, compliance, and accurate documentation for civil and structural projects.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily site supervision to ensure adherence to civil and structural engineering standards and project specifications
Inspect construction workmanship to identify and resolve quality issues promptly
Verify the compliance of materials and construction activities with approved plans and safety regulations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records and reports to support project tracking and audits

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant civil and structural engineering experience
BCSS certification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience working on major construction projects
