Quality Engineer (Precision Manufacturing)

Our client is an established Singapore publicly listed precision engineering manufacturer serving the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries. The company specializes in producing high-precision components and is committed to delivering world-class quality standards through continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers while driving quality initiatives across new product introductions, manufacturing processes, and supplier development.

• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and company quality standards.
• Develop and manage supplier quality activities, including supplier qualification, audits, performance monitoring, and corrective actions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities through quality planning, risk assessments, and validation processes.
• Establish and maintain inspection standards, quality control plans, and product acceptance criteria.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Analyze quality data and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, and manufacturing performance.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within precision engineering, semiconductor, CNC machining, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Experience in supplier quality management, quality assurance, and process improvement.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and quality engineering methodologies.
• Familiar with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, CAPA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistical Analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach towards quality improvement and customer satisfaction.

• Work with advanced precision manufacturing technologies supporting the semiconductor industry.
• Exposure to supplier quality, NPI, process improvement, and quality system development.
