Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd (SLNG) was incorporated by the Energy Market Authority of Singapore in June 2009 to build, own and operate Singapore's very first open-access, multi-user LNG Terminal. This is a key national infrastructure that supports Singapore's energy diversification strategy and future economic development in the energy sector.
With more than 95% of electricity in Singapore being generated using natural gas, the SLNG Terminal helps to enhance the country's energy security by enabling natural gas to be shipped to Singapore from anywhere in the world. Job description:
Responsibilities- Develop the Project Quality Plan and related procedures, in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Establish QA/QC requirements in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Prepare quality risk matrix and criticality ratings of site systems, equipment and materials.
- Conduct site quality induction training with the IPMT/EPC and subcontractors construction teams.
- Ensure vendor compliance with the project's QA/QC requirements.
- Conduct quality audits of engineering work by subcontractors.
- Conduct quality audits of EPC Phase and associated subcontractors.
- Manage QA/QC reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective & Preventive Actions and lessons learned.
- Monitor third party certification of lifting devices, relief valves, vessels, exchangers, etc.
- Manage QA/QC Engineers/Inspectors of all trades (e.g. civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation).
- Manage the preparation of manufacturer data books for engineering, subcontractors, vendors, construction and commissioning activities.
- Degree in Engineering.
- At least 20 years' experience in LNG industry or oil & gas projects, particularly in the Southeast Asia, with at least 10 years' experience as QA/QC Manager role.
- Extensive experience in managing QA/QC activities across the entire lifecycle of large projects, from EPC to commissioning.
- Candidates with QA/QC professional certification preferred.
