Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Market Development
- Develop and execute annual project sales strategies aligned with Group
- Map and develop target sectors and key accounts at the project level, covering all addressable company’s markets, not limited to semiconductor fabrication facilities, data centers, industrial plants, and commercial buildings.
- Identify specification opportunities and define spec-in action plans by project type and consultant base
- Drive market share growth through structured territory and segment planning
- Project Pipeline & Funnel Management
- Own the full project sales funnel: Project Owner/ Consultant Spec in → RFQ intake → Specification → Tender → Negotiation → Award → Handover
- Maintain accurate and current pipeline data in CRM with clear project status, value, and win rate
- Conduct weekly pipeline reviews; identify at-risk projects and escalate with corrective actions
- Track RFQ → Order conversion rate and win/loss ratio; analyze trends and drive improvement
- Specification Selling & Consultant Engagement
- Proactively engage M&E consultants, specifying engineers, and architects to position company’s products in project specifications
- Provide technical presentations, product selection support, and application guidance during design stages
- Build and maintain a consultant database across Taiwan; conduct regular technical visits and seminars
- Ensure company’s ventilation solutions are specified as the preferred or equal brand on key projects
- Pricing Discipline & Margin Control
- Review and approve project pricing within defined authority; challenge unnecessary discounting
- Collaborate with Finance on payment terms, credit control, and collections follow-up
- Monitor project gross margin; escalate margin-at-risk projects to management promptly
- Enforce pricing governance and ensure alignment between sales growth and profitability targets
- Reporting, Governance & Compliance
- Provide accurate weekly/monthly sales performance reports to Deputy General Manager and KVA regional team
- Ensure CRM data integrity and standardized project reporting discipline across the team
- Manage sales budgets, travel, and entertainment expenses within approved limits
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and relevant industry standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering or science discipline (including
- Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics). Candidates with proven HVAC sales experience may also be considered irrespective of formal educational background.
- Minimum 5 years in project sales or technical sales, with proven experience in:
- HVAC, ventilation systems, or mechanical building services
- Industrial equipment, M&E systems, or related engineering products
- Project-based selling involving consultants, contractors, or engineering procurement
- Proven track record in specification selling and managing complex multi-stakeholder project cycles
- Prior team leadership experience preferred (min. 2 years managing a sales team)
