Customer Service Manager - Transportation

We are a logistics company and have an opening for a Customer Service Manager at our Transportation Dept.
  1. Attend to major customer’s enquiries and liaise with customers to ensure that all the job requirements of the orders given are captured, in the event if the team members are not able to assist
  2. Perform trucking job creation when necessary
  3. Responsible to monitor and liaise closely with Operations Team on the execution of jobs received in the team
  4. Monitor job and provide timely updates for shipment, including updating of container details into system
  5. Advise customers on delivery schedule/ inventory
  6. Maintain inventory report and undertake monthly closing of accounts
  7. Oversee and monitor progress of job orders and shipments of team
  8. Maintain business relationship with customers and responsible for customer management on a higher level
  9. Communicate and coordinate with the appointed third-party in relation to job orders
  10. Assist in all aspects of accounts receivables process including billing, invoices, issuance of debit notes and credit notes as while as checking of teams’ invoices
  11. Ensure all billings accruals and payments are made on time and generate invoices for posting to customers
  12. Maintain billing system data integrity
  13. Accountable for accuracy and precision of billing processes to customers
  14. Oversee and guide the respective teams
  15. Maintain networking with other departments with relating to executing of job orders
  16. Assist in permit declaration for job orders when required or when necessary
  17. Work with managers to draft out reports and findings into official reports when dealing with feedback and complaints
  18. Involve and come up with improvement plans for the team and in turn oversee the execution of the plans
  19. Assist in ad-hoc quotation or commercial rates requests
  20. Support Managers in terms preparation of financial or any form of relevant reporting as per required by Senior Management
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business or related field
  2. 5 years of experience in third party logistics or in any supply chain operations
  3. Experienced in leading a team of customer service staff
  4. Proficiency in SAP & Microsoft Office
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff
  6. Ability to deliver feedback in both verbal & written manner
