ServiceNow SeniorDeveloper(App Engine Specialist)
We are seekingan experiencedServiceNowDeveloperwith strong expertise in App Engine development to join our team. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership responsibilities, guiding juniordevelopers whilst delivering complexServiceNowsolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of custom applications usingServiceNowApp Engine
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to juniordevelopers
Design and develop complex workflows, business rules, and custom applications
Establish coding standards and best practices for the development team
Conduct code reviews and ensure quality of deliverables
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions
Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles
Participate in architecture discussions and solution design sessions
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years ofServiceNowdevelopment and implementation experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience withServiceNowApp Engine development
CurrentServiceNowcertifications (e.g., Certified ApplicationDeveloper, Certified Implementation Specialist)
Experience in at least 2 large-scaleServiceNowimplementations
Strong expertise in JavaScript andServiceNowscripting
Proven track record of technical leadership and mentoring
Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge ofServiceNowApp Engine Studio and App Engine Templates
Expertise inServiceNowscripting using JavaScript
Strong understanding ofServiceNowplatform capabilities and limitations
Proficiency in:
o Business Rules
o Client Scripts
o UI Policies
o UI Actions
o Workflows
o Flow Designer
o Integration Hub
o Service Portal development
Experiencewith source control and deployment tools
Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services and APIs
Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide juniordevelopers
Experience in conducting technical training sessions
Strong codereview and quality assurance skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience in estimating development effort and managing technical deliverables
Additional Requirements:
Experience withAgile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently andas part of a team
Experience in creating technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
