Treasury and Credit Risk Manager

• Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk policies and frameworks aligned with business objectives and risk appetite
• Assess credit worthiness of counterparties, including customers, suppliers, and trading partners, using internal models and external ratings.
• Establish and monitor credit limits, exposure thresholds, and mitigation strategies (e.g. guarantees, collateral, etc.)
• Provide credit risk assessments to support commercial and trading activities

• Manage day-to-day treasury operations, including cash positioning, fund transfers, and banking transactions
• Evaluate and execute short- and long-term financing solutions to support business needs, including loan facilities, working capital lines, and trade finance
• Ensure compliance with banking covenants and financing agreements

• Oversee the preparation and monitoring of cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity sufficiency
• Drive optimisation of cash management structures, bank accounts, and internal cash movements
• Identify opportunities to enhance cash utilization and returns on excess liquidity

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of credit exposure, cash positions, financing metrics, and risk-related KPIs
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to align risk practices with regulatory requirements and internal controls

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CFA/FRM qualification is a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong technical knowledge of credit assessment methodologies, cash flow forecasting and trade finance instruments
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and sanctions
• Skilled in financial tools and modelling
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial insights to senior management
• Experienced in managing external stakeholders including banks and customers
• 8 to 10 years of experience in credit risk, treasury and corporate finance in the commodities sector
