About the Role

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced clinic. This position reports to the Operations Manager of Paddington Medical Clinic.

Each day, you’ll contribute to:

In-room patient care: Be in the room with the doctor during consultations and minor procedures, assisting in real time (chaperoning, room setup, note-taking, patient comfort, post-procedure support).
Clinic flow & care coordination: Help keep the clinic running smoothly—patient registration (Private/CHAS/Medisave), professional patient assistance (including young children and elderly Mandarin-speaking patients), medication handover/dispatch, patient accompaniment when needed, and receiving/checking supplies with light inventory upkeep. You’ll also process payments/claims and support infection control and cleanliness.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday: 8:30am–1:00pm, 2:00pm–5:00pm
Thursday: 10:30am–1:00pm, 2:00pm–5:00pm
Friday: 8.30am–1:00pm, 2:00pm–7:00pm
Saturday: 8:30am–1:00pm

⏰ Working Hours - Candidate B

Monday: 10:00am–1:00pm, 2:00pm–7:00pm
Tuesday: 8:30am–1:00pm, 2:00pm–5:00pm
Wednesday: 10:00am–1:00pm, 2:00pm–7:00pm
Thursday: 8:30am–1:00pm, 2:00pm–5:00pm
Friday: 10:00am–1:00pm, 2:00pm–7:00pm
Saturday: 8:30am–1:00pm
Training & Experience
Structured training provided in two stages: first on core clinic workflows, then on clinical assisting/procedural support.
No prior experience is required for the clinical-assisting portion—we will train you.
Prior clinic experience is preferred, especially for independent work.
Remuneration & Progression
Probation (3 months from day of joining): $10–$15/hour (depending on experience)
Post-probation: Permanent role based on performance, with competitive salary and benefits
