Occupational therapist - Toa Payoh

Reports to: Allied Health Coordinator/CEO

Job Purpose:

To collaborate with healthcare professionals in assessing clients and developing individualized rehabilitation plans to improve or maintain daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. *Clinical Duties:*

• Supervise and support junior occupational therapists (OTs).
• Provide guidance within the assigned team.

1. *Administrative Duties:*

• Report on and recommend team progress.
• Participate in clinical projects and organize staff coverage.
• Appraise and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare necessary reports and statistics.
• Identify problem areas and suggest improvements.

1. *Education and Training:*

• Coach and supervise junior OTs and rehabilitation assistants.
• Coordinate training courses.

Requirements:

• *Qualifications:*
• Recognized degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) and possess valid certifications.
• BCLS and AED certification.
• :*Experience*
• 2-3 years in hospital or nursing home settings; aged care experience is desirable.
• *Skills:*
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Critical thinking, communication, leadership, and teamwork.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.

• Ability to travel to clients' homes for support.
