About the role
Primo Guards Pte Ltd, a leading provider of security services in the Tuas West Region, is seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises and personnel.This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
What you'll be doing- Conducting regular patrols and surveillance of assigned premises to detect and deter any suspicious or illegal activities
- Monitoring and controlling access to the premises, including checking identification, granting access, and maintaining visitor logs
- Responding promptly to alarms, emergencies, and other security-related incidents, and taking appropriate actions in accordance with company protocols
- Maintaining detailed records and logs of all security-related activities and incidents
- Collaborating with local authorities and emergency services as needed
- Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures
- Prior experience in a security or related role, preferably within the Trades & Services industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to respond quickly and effectively to security incidents
- Thorough knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and best practices
- Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology, such as CCTV systems and access control systems
- Able to perform manual tasks and able to perform the duties of the role, which may include standing for extended periods and patrolling the premises
- A valid Security Officer licence and a clean criminal record
