Senior Assistant Manager, Financial Management (7-month contract)

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of financial functions related to externally funded projects and research, including Manpower Operating Grants and initiatives
• Ensure timely preparation of claims and related accounts, financial reporting, and the overall utilisation of programmes and projects in accordance with the stipulations of funding agencies
• Responsible for reviewing of the cash flow and forecast statements & ensure proper accounting and timely billing for reimbursement and accuracy of funding received.
• Ensure proper tracking of sales for manpower services contracts, non-patient billings, aging statements, and analysis of statements of accounts from 1FSS
• Ensure proper compilation of professional fee reports and reconciliation of the respective revenue and expense accounts to the general ledger
• Ensure proper billing for the purchase of manpower services, including monthly accruals and schedules, and perform monthly analysis and reconciliation with statements of accounts from respective institutions
• Responsible for annual budgeting and bi-annual forecasting related to funded projects for Manpower Operating Grants
• Lead, inspire, motivate, and develop staff, while providing support and creating opportunities for team members to achieve their professional goals
• Any other duties assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / ACCA or any relevant discipline
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP systems
• Independent, self-driven and meticulous
• Team player with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships
