HS Finance Executive
Overview
The High School Finance Executive will handle mainly the HS IPC Funds, HS Fixed assets, Grade 12 termly invoice billing for school/ exam fees in SAP B1, Investment / Loan accounting matters and audits.
General responsibilities and duties- Handle IPC-Scholarship Fund and Building Fund accounts
- Liaise with Hostel and Scholars, for payment of expenses
- Tracking of scholars expenses and usage of scholarship fund, providing financial information/report for quarterly scholarship meetings, thus liaise with Fund raising department in this respect
- Manage the accounting aspects of large scale Fund raising activities, such as Singala events
- Issue payments from IPC funds
- Manage Donation income for both IPC Funds & Issue Tax Deductible receipts
- Prepare annual submission of SF donation data via IRAS DMS lite system
- Handle annual Grade 12 deposit refund only for cases with donations to IPC funds
- Prepare monthly audit schedules and bank reconciliation for Scholarship Fund, Building Fund
- Manage HS General and Building Fund Fixed Asset accounting, including Dismantling costs
- Billing of 2 Terms Grade 12 School/Exam/Invigilation Fees invoices (approximately 250 per term), including collection of fees
- Manage Grade 10 IGCSE exam remarks/refund (approximately 50 cases in May) and Grade 12 IBO exam remarks/refund (approximately 200 cases from Jan to Mar)
- Manage Investment accounting and New campus loan tracking in 2 or 3 years time
- Perform general administrative duties and Ad hoc Projects as assigned by the Finance Manager
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications with in-depth GST knowledge
- At least 8 -10 years hands-on, relevant experience in a fully computerized accounting environment
- FP&A Financial modelling skills will be preferred
- Proficient in Google suite and Microsoft office applications
- Proven team player with excellent technical aptitude, strong knowledge of digital tools, and good interpersonal and communication abilities
- Knowledge of SAP Business 1 ,Iras DMS lite is an added advantage, but not a requisite
