Bar assistant manager

About the role

This is a full-time position based in the East Region.

• Assist the Bar Manager in the overall management and supervision of bar operations
• Ensure efficient and effective bar service, including inventory management, stock control, and pricing
• Train, schedule, and supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance
• Establish and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the bar
• Develop and implement new cocktail and beverage menus, and promote them to customers
• Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar bar assistant manager or supervisory role
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to motivate and train staff
• Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting
• Knowledgeable about current trends and best practices in the bar and beverage industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
