Job Overview
We are looking for a caring and motivated Staff Nurse to join our radiology team. You will support imaging procedures such as CT, MRI, and PET scans, and play an important role in ensuring patients are well prepared, comfortable, and safe throughout their visit.
This role is suitable for nurses who are keen to learn and grow in a radiology setting, with guidance and training provided.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cannulation for imaging procedures (e.g. CT, MRI, PET scans)
- Assist in patient preparation and provide clear explanations before procedures
- Support coordination of PET scan patients, including basic pre-scan instructions
- Monitor patients before and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort
- Assist radiographers and doctors during procedures when required
- Observe and report any patient reactions or concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines
- Ensure patient confidentiality at all times
- Support general clinic operations when needed
- Registered Nurse with valid Singapore Nursing Board license
- Comfortable with cannulation (training can be provided if needed)
- Prior nursing experience is preferred; radiology experience is not required
- Willing to learn and be trained in radiology and PET workflows
- Caring, patient-focused, and responsible
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a team and in a fast-paced environment
- Rotating shifts (Monday to Saturday):
oMonday to Friday: Between 8:00am – 6:30pm
oSaturday: 8:00am – 1:30pm- Shift examples:
o8:00am – 5:00pm
o8:30am – 5:30pm
o9:00am – 6:00pm
o9:30am – 6:30pm- 5.5-day work week
