HSE Compliance Manager

Our esteemed client in the Logistics industry is seeking a HSE Compliance Manager to join their dynamic team:

- Position: HSE Compliance Manager
- Location: West (Transport provided)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
- Salary Package: Basic + Meal Allowance + Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and administer environmental health and safety (EH&S) programs, including hazard identification, injury prevention, fire/lift safety, and emergency preparedness; conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance.
- Support the development and implementation of workplace safety and health (WSH) initiatives across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
- Act as the designated Safety Case Lead for assigned facilities; manage the acquisition and renewal of Major Hazard Installation (MHI) certifications and coordinate all related audits.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures, including periodic fire drills, CERT audits, team training, and regular updates to contingency plans and documentation.
- Oversee ISO certification audits (9001, 14001, 45001) and ensure all documentation and processes meet required standards.
- Advise cross-functional teams on Safe Work Procedures, Risk Assessments, and operational safety requirements in line with relevant laws (e.g., WSH Act, SCDF regulations).
- Conduct thorough investigations of workplace incidents, verify root causes, and ensure appropriate preventive measures are implemented.
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders to drive consistent HSE practices across departments and facilities.
- Handle licensing matters related to hazardous materials, including QRA submissions and Petroleum & Flammable Materials (P&FM) licenses.
- Facilitate and support external audits, manage certification renewals, and act as the liaison with regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
Job Requirements:
- At least Diploma in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health or relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years of HSE leadership experience within the logistics, warehousing or related sector.
- Proven expertise in safety management systems (ISO 14001, 45001, 18001*)
- Possess a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification
- Proficiency in national regulatory frameworks for hazardous material compliance, including storage permits for flammables/chemicals.
