Assistant Finance Manager (Manufacturing | Financial Reporting | Budgeting)

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide a team handling accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Monitor daily cash flow, manage intercompany fund transfers, and support treasury activities
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing, including preparation and review of journal entries (e.g., depreciation, accruals, provisions)
• Oversee fixed asset records, including capitalization and depreciation tracking
• Review and follow up on accounts receivable aging; coordinate with sales on billing issues and overdue accounts
• Ensure timely and accurate GST submissions and support in corporate tax matters
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting year-end audit activities
• Support preparation of quarterly consolidation packages for submission to group headquarters
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in ERP (SAP FICO) and assist with system and Chart of Accounts maintenance
• Participate in internal control checks and contribute to process improvement initiatives
• Handle ad-hoc assignments and reporting as required by the Finance Manager or Head of Finance

Requirements:

• At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in Finance, Accounting or Audit
• Experience in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, or Audits is a plus
• Proficiency in Accounting Software, i.e., SAP
