Sales Manager (Marine)

Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Manager (Marine) for our client in the marine offshore industry. He/she must have a proven track record of bringing in new accounts & experience providing completed integrated telecoms solutions for the offshore/onshore oil and gas industries.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage potential clients, recommending appropriate marine products, integrated systems, and services to enhance seaworthiness.
• Manage and evaluate sales leads to develop and forecast business plans for prospective customers.
• Execute business strategies in alignment with corporate objectives to achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with the internal proposal team to deliver high-quality proposals tailored to customer needs.
• Coordinate with the technical team to optimize the sales process and ensure efficient system and service delivery.
• Address customer inquiries and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Perform other assigned tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with a proven sales track record.
• Strong knowledge of the marine industry, particularly in the Energy Sector.
• Experience as an Ex-Sailor, Ex-Radio Officer, or Ex-Navy personnel is advantageous.
• Well-established network and connections with local and regional shipyards and shipowners.
• Strong business acumen, communication, and presentation skills.
