Operations Manager (F&B Group - Chinese Restaurant Concept)

About the Role
We are an established Chinese restaurant group known for our traditional dim sum, à la carte specialties, and family-style dining. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and lead our outlet teams in delivering quality food, warm service, and an authentic dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of several restaurant outlets to ensure smooth service and operational efficiency
- Maintain high standards of food quality, service delivery, and food safety/hygiene compliance
- Lead manpower planning, staff scheduling, and deployment across outlets
- Supervise outlets' maintenance, cleanliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Implement SOPs and ensure consistent adherence by outlet teams
- Review outlet performance, including sales, costs, and P&L results, and recommend improvements
- Manage budgets, monitor inventory usage, minimise wastage, and optimise cost control
- Work closely with management to develop operational strategies and achieve business targets
- Lead, train, mentor, and motivate outlet managers and frontline staff
- Conduct performance reviews and support staff development and retention
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding of operations team members
- Serve as the key liaison between outlets and the management team
- Prepare operational reports and updates for management review
- Work with Marketing, HR, and Finance on promotions, manpower matters, and cost-tracking initiatives
- Support menu rollouts, promotions, festive campaigns, and service enhancement initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and oversee purchasing activities
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or multi-outlet role
- Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills
- Proven ability in operations optimisation, cost management, and improving outlet profitability
- Familiarity with local food safety and hygiene requirements
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment - especially during peak dining hours
- Experience in Chinese cuisine or dim sum concepts is an advantage but not mandatory
- Leadership role is a well-established F&B restaurant group
