Quality Assurance Tester (Contract) - Toa Payoh

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance (QA) tester is a member of the Products and Engineering – Quality Assurance team in NETS Solutions and will report to the Project Manager or Team Lead in charge of the project. He/She will be working with the business and technical units to create test objectives, test strategies and test cases as well as perform quality testing of product development and maintenance.

• Collaborate with Software Developers to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Review and analyse product specifications to create test scenarios and test cases
• Create automation test scripts based on the test cases
• Execute test cases (manual or automated), capture comprehensive test result and perform analyse on the test results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Conduct post-release testing during product maintenance phase
• Help on troubleshoot when encountered issue during test execution
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent education.
• 3-5 years of working experience in QA testing in the payments industry is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Good team player and positive attitude.
• Domain knowledge and experience in financial industry/payments systems is a plus.
• Familiar with technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Java, MySQL, and XML is a plus
