Description: Supply Chain Manager

Our client, a global manufacturer in the industrial / chemical segment is seeking to fill the following challenging position :-

Responsibilities:

Establish supply chain strategies, plans and activities that support organisation’s supply chain / global transportation deliverables
Ensuring reliable demand mgt, order fulfilment and inventory accuracy
Champion continuous improvement to ensure cost effective inventory mgt and regional / global freight processes within regional operations.
Liase with cross functional team to ensure optimisation of goods distribution and warehousing/ storage
Provide performance and management reports to management
Collaborate with concerned stakeholders to streamline operational processes to drive overall operational supply chain service excellency initiatives in tandem with clients established KPI.

Skills/Qualifications:

At least 6 years managerial experience in supply chain / warehouse management/ 3PL and transportation management experience
Fundamental understanding of supply chain's value propositions.
Innovative and capable of identifying and implementing solutions in Logistics, transportation and warehousing.
Able to foster effective teamwork and collaboration by setting clear directions and priorities.
Strategically focused
Strong team management skills.
