Job Summary:

You will be responsible for ensuring system performance, security, and compliance while leading deployments and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A certification in AZ-104 is required, and prior experience in GCC 1.0 and 2.0 environments is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Microsoft Azure infrastructure within the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), ensuring system stability, performance, and security.
• Lead Azure cloud projects from planning and design through to implementation and documentation.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and network teams to support deployments, resolve issues, and align on architecture decisions.
• Design and manage Azure Virtual Networks and Subnets to create secure, scalable cloud environments.
• Configure and maintain Network Security Groups (NSGs) to enforce traffic control policies.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Load Balancers to ensure high availability and optimized performance.
• Implement and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies to safeguard web applications against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Administer Azure DNS for efficient name resolution and service discovery.
• Configure and maintain route tables and virtual network peerings to support hybrid, multi-region, and cross-subscription environments.
• Integrate syslog solutions and manage the Azure Log Analytics Workspace for monitoring, diagnostics, and auditing.
• Manage procurement and timely renewal of SSL certificates used in WAF and firewall systems.
• Use Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration in line with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, best practices, and industry standards.
• Participate in incident response efforts and perform root cause analyses related to Azure infrastructure issues.
• Continuously review the environment for performance tuning, cost optimization, and adoption of new Azure services.
• Prepare and deliver performance and operational reports as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Certification in Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is mandatory.
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) certification is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with Azure infrastructure in GCC 1.0 and 2.0 environments.
• Proven experience using Terraform for infrastructure automation on Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with log analysis and monitoring using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Good knowledge of ITIL framework, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.
