Data Scientist (2-Year Contract | Public Sector | $5000-$7000)

We are seeking a motivated Data Analytics Specialist as a Data Scientist / Data Analyst / BI Analyst to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of data products—including interactive dashboards, reports, and machine learning models.

You will work closely with end-users and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable insights, guided by the Product Manager.

Salary: $5,000 – $7,000/month
Industry: Government / Public Sector
Contract Duration: 24 months + AWS + Bonuses (Up to 4 Months)
Location: Bukit Merah

Eligibility: Singaporeans only

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and refine business and technical requirements with stakeholders
Build and deploy data analytics solutions using structured frameworks
Conduct audits, feasibility assessments, vulnerability scans, and UATs
Perform data analysis and trend identification to support decision-making
Deliver user support, demos, and documentation aligned with QMS standards
Collaborate with platform, database, and integration teams on implementation

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related fields
At least 2 years of relevant experience in data analytics or science roles
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficiency in using enterprise tools for dashboards, reporting, and data extraction
