Senior Manager, Strategic Planning and Transformation
He or she will also need to develop and drive the strategic planning cycle and organisational strategy roadmap, which will include horizon scanning to understand emerging trends and regular strategic business reviews and priority settings for TAL and its business units.
Suitable candidate should possess the following experiences, skills and attributes:
- Tertiary education in any discipline
- At least 6 years of experience in policy or planning, corporate strategy development or equivalent experience. Experience in stakeholder engagement and co-creation of solutions will be an advantage
- Curiosity to understand an issue deeply and the tenacity and perseverance to find solutions to the challenges highlighted
- Embody the ‘can-do’ spirit and a positive and growth mindset
- Strong ability to adopt a forward looking and strategic perspective of the big picture; yet sufficiently grounded to understand the constraint of ground implications, so as to propose realistic and implementable solutions
- Strong ability to analyse and contextualise issues to effectively make recommendations on strategic moves
- Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills to establish connections with a larger number of internal and external stakeholders
The position offered will commensurate with individual work experience and suitability.
Position is on a 2-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of TAL with an option to renew, contingent upon performance and subject to the organisation's needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
