Financial Controller (Construction) - Pasir Ris

Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting

Manage the general ledger, chart of accounts, and all closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annually).
Ensure financial statements comply with Singapore standards and IFRS/SFRS.
Produce internal reports and conduct financial analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Create and maintain budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor and manage cash flow, especially in relation to pandemic-related operations.

Treasury & Banking

Handle daily banking operations and cash requirements.
Maintain treasury controls and communicate with banking partners.

Financial Controls & Audits

Develop and implement internal control systems.
Create finance-related policies and standard operating procedures.

Procure-to-Pay & Order-to-Cash Processes

Supervise receivables and collections to ensure proper governance and transparency.

Financial Systems & Automation

Implement and optimize finance systems like SAP S/4 HANA Cloud and H2H e-banking tools.
Automate accounting processes, including accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.

Leadership & Collaboration

Manage a small finance team.

Collaborate effectively with procurement, operations, HR, and sales teams.

Requirements:

Background in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience with a Big 4 firm is an advantage.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, detail-oriented.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud and Integration Suite.
