Financial Controller - Choa Chu Kang

A key aspect of the role includes working closely with our subsidiary company in the UAE to consolidate group financials and ensure aligned financial governance.

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, payments, and transactions.
• Manage all accounting and financial operations, ensuring timely and accurate monthly and year-end closings.
• Consolidate group financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager of the UAE subsidiary to review financial performance and ensure accurate group-level consolidation.
• Monitor and optimize cash flow across the group and its subsidiaries.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, treasury operations and investment activities.
• Ensure timely compliance with local and international tax, accounting, tax reporting, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and statutory bodies.
• Recommend and implement effective financial controls and process enhancements.
• Establish and maintain working-level relationships with banks and investors to secure banking facilities, overseeing the end-to-end process of loan documentation, term sheet review, covenant compliance monitoring, loan drawdowns, and rollovers.
• Lead ERP system improvements to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting associates.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, CA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Extensive experience in group financial controlling and consolidation.
• Solid understanding of international finance regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP and financial systems.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Possess good commercial acumen.
