Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Math Tutor to join our close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who just graduated, have been doing private tutoring for a while and is passionate about motivating students and looking to build a long-term career in the tuition industry.

Responsibilities

• Conducting classes for S1/Y1 through to S4/Y4 tutee for Math
• Familiarising with the centre’s material and conducting classes according to the centre’s pedagogy
• Develop explanatory videos with potential questions and the centre’s way of explaining concepts to tutee.
• Marking of tutee’s work to familiarise with tutee's level of learning and the school’s difficulty level
• Evaluate tutee performance and provide timely feedback to the parents

• Contribute to the development of online learning resources
• Assist in the training and mentorship of junior tutors
• Support marketing and outreach efforts to attract new students
• Engage in community-building initiatives to foster a strong connection with students and parents
• Managing and own a centre under My Masterclass umbrella.

• Private tutoring during undergrad years & a local bachelor's degree
• A genuine passion for teaching with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for student outcomes and timely communication with parents.
