Production Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Review daily production schedules, ship commits, and job orders to ensure timely execution.
- Follow up closely with production supervisors and line leaders on job progress.
- Resolve bottlenecks, delays, or resource constraints promptly to keep production on schedule.
- Monitor Work-In-Progress (WIP) and expedite urgent jobs based on customer delivery timelines.
- Highlight and escalate any risk of delay to relevant stakeholders immediately.
- Coordinate priority sequencing with production teams to meet shipment timelines.
- Work with procurement and store teams to ensure material readiness before job start.
- Follow up on pending material or tooling to prevent production stoppages.
- Verify that machines and manpower are allocated appropriately for urgent jobs.
- Update job status trackers, production boards, and ERP/MES system daily.
- Prepare daily production progress reports for management review.
- Ensure timely documentation of job completions, reworks, delays, and changes.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Reporting Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum education: GCE O‑Level.
- 1–3 years of experience in production coordination, planning, or manufacturing operations.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry, production tracking systems).
- Experience in high‑mix, fast‑paced production environments is an advantage.
