HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with and support the overall business goals of the Business Unit. This role, reporting to the General Manager of the joint-venture company and functionally to the Group HRBP Lead, will manage end-to-end HR policies, processes, and initiatives across the company in alignment with Group HR directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workforce Planning & Strategy:
Manage workforce planning, considering current and future talent needs and critical skill gaps. Develop and implement strategies to address these gaps in alignment with the company's business objectives.
  • Budget Management:
Oversee the staff cost budget, including preparation and monitoring of budgetary changes, and provide detailed analysis of increases to management.
  • HR Solutions & Problem Solving:
Develop cost-effective and practical solutions to resolve people challenges, while ensuring alignment with HR best practices and principles.
  • Organizational Design:
Collaborate with business leaders to design scalable organizational structures that can adapt to various phases of the company's growth and operational needs.
  • Employee Engagement & Experience:
Identify gaps in employee engagement and implement initiatives to improve overall employee experience and retention.
  • Recruitment Strategy:
Design and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent across technical, operational, and leadership roles.
  • Learning & Development:
Identify learning and development needs within the organization and ensure appropriate training programs are implemented to upskill the workforce.
  • Change Management:
Support organizational change initiatives, including culture and values shifts, ensuring alignment with the Group’s objectives.
  • Team Building & Collaboration:
Coordinate team-building initiatives that promote collaboration, engagement, and high performance across diverse, technical teams.
  • Advisory Role:

Advise the GM and department heads (HODs) on effective people management strategies and best practices to drive organizational success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of HR experience in a similar capacity, with proven success in implementing organizational change initiatives, including employee engagement and culture/values transformation.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and employment laws.
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to operational details.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and solve complex people-related problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant HR software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Exposure to start-up or rapidly growing environments is a plus.
