IT Support Specialist (Microsoft Ecosystem & Business Central) - Hougang

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for handling the company’s daily IT operations, system support, and technology upkeep across all departments. The role requires strong technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI), and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring smooth digital operations, secure data flow, and reliable system performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Central Administration
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and security roles in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Provide first-line support for daily operational issues, data corrections, and transaction troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system performance and integrations with warehouse, shipping, and finance systems.
  • Coordinate with software vendors for issue resolution, version upgrades, or enhancements.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for management review.
  1. Microsoft Power Platform Support
  • Design and maintain Power Apps to improve process efficiency and digital form management.
  • Develop and manage Power Automate workflows for routine approvals, alerts, and data synchronization.
  • Manage Power Pages for internal or partner access and maintain data integrity.
  • Maintain and support Power BI dashboards for reporting and performance analysis.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Power Platform with Business Central and Microsoft 365 applications.
  1. Microsoft Fabric & Data Analytics
  • Manage data connections and pipelines between Business Central, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Ensure consistency, reliability, and security of data used for reporting and analysis.
  • Support management with unified dashboards and insights through Fabric and Power BI.
  • Maintain structured data environments for business and operational analytics.
  1. IT Operations & Technical Support
  • Provide daily support for hardware, software, printers, scanners, and network devices.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, email configurations, and licenses.
  • Maintain network connectivity, backups, and system performance.
  • Track and maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring timely upgrades and preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate with external service providers when specialized support is required.
  1. IT Security, Compliance & Documentation
  • Enforce cybersecurity measures including password management, access control, and data backup routines.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all system configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews of system access and security logs.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data protection guidelines.
  1. System Enhancement & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for automation or process improvement using Microsoft tools.
  • Support digital initiatives that enhance operational productivity and data visibility.
  • Work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to plan, test, and deploy IT enhancements aligned with business needs.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must have at least a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with a least 1-2 years of working experience.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Microsoft Power Platform / Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft 365.
  • General IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
  • Clear and professional communication with all departments.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently.
  • Systematic in task follow-up, prioritization, and documentation.
