Java Software Engineer - Singapore

Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level IT systems and applications.
- System Support: Investigate and resolve system issues, and support system enhancements and updates.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with project teams to oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Performance Optimisation: Troubleshoot and enhance system performance for seamless operations.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain system design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Java Expertise: A minimum of 3 years in Java and Java EE development, using frameworks such as Struts, JSF, Spring, EJB, Hibernate, or iBatis.
- Agile Experience: 1-2 years of Agile Development experience with a solid grasp of Agile methodologies.
- Web Development Proficiency: Strong skills in Java EE web application development and Java UI frameworks.
- Low-Code Platforms:
Alternatively, a willingness to undergo training and certification in Mendix if required.
This is a 1 year contract to start, renewable and convertible to permanent.
